Plan a Visit

Arrive Before Dark, Leave After It

The gate opens an hour before sunset. Headlights go off at the gate and stay off. Everything from there is on foot, by lantern.

What To Expect

Four Things People Wish They Had Known

None of this is real. It is written the way a real station would write it, which is the point of the practice.

  1. The Road Is the Last Of the Light

An invented gravel road off an invented valley highway. The last signal drops two bends before the gate; download anything you need before that.

  2. Weather Is Called At Four

Guided nights are called by 4 pm on the day. Cloud means a Storm Watch night is offered instead; rain means a credit for another night.

  3. No White Light After the Gate

Phones go face down or in the red sleeves at the desk. Red headlamps are lent for the walk back if you want one.

  4. Dress For Two Hours Of Sitting Still

Standing still at night is colder than walking in it. Most first-timers underdress by one layer.

Reservation

Check an Invented Date

Simulated. This form validates for real and sends nothing anywhere. No calendar, no payment, no email. It exists to practise a reservation flow.

Fields marked required must be filled. Errors appear beside the field. The confirmation is generated in your browser and is not a booking.

All fields except the message are required.

Up to 8 on a guided night

The simulated check runs in your browser and needs JavaScript, which is off. Nothing is sent either way.
